A Dollar for Life was inspired by Simon Hedley working with an incredible community of entrepreneurs, founders, investors and changemakers. Again and again, the same question came up:
How do we make generosity feel simple enough to start, and meaningful enough to continue?
This project is one answer. Not a complicated system. Not a promise. Just a simple first step for people who want to contribute, pay something forward, and be part of a wider culture of practical generosity.
Simon Hedley is the founder of Strategic Alchemy®, where his work focuses on helping people and organisations turn ideas, relationships and resources into more grounded results.
Over the years Simon has worked with entrepreneurs, business owners, investors and leaders, and has helped thousands of charities through practical support, fundraising thinking, strategic advice and wider ecosystem-building.
He also founded Freedom International Now, and continues to explore the future of charity: how giving, enterprise, community and technology can work together in more human, useful and sustainable ways.
